Hi 

This is the useguide for the ClubZap App , its divided into parents and players and Managers and Mentors section 

for the players and Parents

Step 1. Download the Clubzap app from the respective appstore ( apple or Android) the app is free to download

Step 2. Once the installation has been completed startup the app and select the correct  club , ClareCastle GAA, Camogie & Ladies Football Club is the correct club.

Step 3. Enter your mobile phone number in the mobile sign in screen. Select your country code by clicking the flag if it is different from the default choice. Enter your number and click next.

Step 4. You will receive an sms code to your phone. On some Android devices this is auto populated for you or else manually enter the code and continue.

Step 5. Enter your Full name and Email address and select Sign Up

You are now active on the platform and can start using the app.

The next step is to join your team on the Chat section (bottom right on the app, marked Chat)

Step 1. Tap the chat Icon

Step 2. you need to tap the chat icon on the bottom right, and select the team(s) you or your child is in , and select request to join.

Step 3. If you are accepted you now are part of the chat group and the mentor/ managers can now contact you regarding fixtures and training

Attending training and fixtures

If you are receiving an event invite from your Team to attend training or Fixture its imparitive to answer the invite , we need to know who will be attending and if he or she has completed the GAA return to play questionaire. 

Managers / Mentors  section 

Due to the Child Protection guidelines we cannot use WhatsApp for any communication in ClareCastle GAA from and to parents of the teams. We need to start using the ClubZap App.

To create a training event on the Chat group,

Step 1. Login / Start Clubzap

Step 2. Goto to the Chat option and select your team 

Step 3.  you need to create the Event and fill out the details  required.  ( there is a prereq field for the COVID return to play but that is not the GAA version ( we will followup to get this changed to the GAA version if possible)

save the event and it will appear in the chat option and parents /players can respond.
