The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Mary Lynch will take place tomorrow Saturday at 11am in Clarecastle Church.

In the village and beyond can pay their respects to a lady who was very much part of our village life. Mrs Lynch was a generous lady with her time and was the leading face of Community Games in Clarecastle and Clare for decades. Her generosity towards and love of the Magpies was ever evident.

Prior to the move to Clareabbey pitch Clarecastle GAA teams were well prepared in Mrs Lynchs "pump field". In 2007 she was the first lady ever to wear the presidential chain of office of Clarecastle GAA.

We offer our sincere sympathies to her sons James and Barney and the extended Lynch families.

A guard of honour will take place after the mass.
