Excellent game of hurling on homesoil against Smith O’Briens resulted in the U14s through to the Shield Final against Scariff/Ogonnelloe.

The boys got off to a good start with some well taken scores and held a 6 point lead at half-time.

Both sides exchanged scores in the second half but it was the Magpies that pulled away in the final quarter to earn a comfortable win.
