In glorious sunshine the U9 season came to a fitting end this Sunday with a blitz against Cratloe GAA on their home turf. The U9 have gone from strength to strength, from the humble beginnings after COVID lockdown to great team earning the respect from the parents and U9 coaches alike . This was only possible with the help of the mentors and great effort from the boys.
I like to thank all mentors for this great season,
- Eoin Vaughan
- Adam Leyden
- John Fogarty
- John Hackett
- Blaise Talty
- Shane O'Doherty
- and new coach John Mcinerney
For the next season we need more volunteers , the club only thrives if there are volunteers to support it. What I'm asking find and hour , even if its a once a week, once every two weeks. The kids absolutely thank you for it and its great to see that all the hard work pays off in the end.
We are now going to train on Saturday mornings, once a week to keep everyone going and to have a head-start in 2022
Once again , it was a pleasure to look after everyone in the U9's , I'll be back in 2022..
