Clarecastle GAA are hosting our Annual Road Hurling Fundraiser on St. Stephen’s Day (Thursday, December 26th) starting at 10am.
Cost:
• Team of 3: €45
• Adult: €15
• U14s: €5 each
You can register your team by texting 086 340 4731 with your team details and Revoluting in advance. Registration will also be available on the day.
Starting Point:
Van Testing Centre/Pipe Factory, Lissane (V95 RR71)
Rules:
• Each team has 3 players.
• Player 1 takes the first strike. Wherever the sliotar leaves the road, Player 2 takes the next shot. Player 3 takes the third shot, then back to Player 1, and so on.
• If a shot does not hit the road, the team makes no progress. You must retake the shot with the next player and incur a 1-shot penalty.
• Each team has 3 sliotars. If all 3 are lost, the team is out.
• You have 3 minutes to search for a lost ball. After that, you must move on and retake the shot with the next player from the original spot. This results in a 2-shot penalty.
• Two teams will participate at a time, and you will mark the scorecard of the team you are paired with.
