Our U14 boys put up a trojan battle this evening at home against Western Gaels in what turned out to be a cracking game of football π
An early Clarecastle goal gave us a promising start and after a hard-fought first half, we went into the break with a marginal lead.
The second half was just as tightly contested with both sides finding the net but despite all our possession and two more Clarecastle goals from Harry Morrisroe and Thomas Keenan, Western Gaels finished stronger and edged it by 3 points in the end.
A tough result considering the effort but huge credit to our boys who step out again this Sunday against St Josephβs Doora-Barefield in Gurteen at 11am for Rd 3 ππ
