Camogie Association are conducting a research study titled "A Qualitative Examination of Youth Camogie Players' Perceptions of Playing Up a Grade" and would like to invite you to participate.
*About the Research:*
This study aims to explore the benefits and challenges that youth Camogie players experience when playing up an age grade. We seek to understand your perceptions and experiences to help inform future policies and practices within the Camogie Association.
*Why Participate?*
You have been invited because you are a youth Camogie player aged between 13 and 17 years. Participation is completely voluntary and will not affect your current or future interactions with the Camogie Association or Dublin City University.
*What Participation Involves:*
You will take part in a 30-minute interview conducted online via Zoom. The interview will be audio-recorded for transcription purposes, but all data will be anonymized, and no personal identifiable information will be required.
*Privacy Protection:*
All information will be kept confidential and anonymized. The data will be securely stored and only accessible to the research team.
*Benefits and Risks:*
While there are no direct benefits to you, your insights will contribute to a better understanding of youth players' experiences, potentially influencing future Camogie policies. There are minimal risks associated with participating, and support is available if you have any concerns.
*Results:*
If you wish to access the final study or information on where the results have been published, please email the principal investigator.
