Great win for the U15 girls against Ruan yesterday evening in the B Championship semi final in a very tight game in Clarecastle.
Leading at half time by 7 points Ruan took the lead in the second half scoring 2-2 without reply to gave their side a one point lead going into the third quarter.
However, a long range ball in the 16th minute into Hollie Lynch who found the net put Clarecastle back in front with a 2 point lead. A further 3 points from Ruan keep them in top with 10 minutes of normal time left to play.
Huge credit must go to Clarecastle who gathered momentum for the remainder of the game scoring 2-3 through Biborka Benko 1-1, Aoibhinn Corbett 1-0, Keeva Moloney & Hollie Farmer a point each to earn a place in the Final against Whitegate.
Well done to the team on an excellent overall performance.
