Clarecastle regretfully lost two much-loved villagers over the weekend, with the passing of John Joe Casey and Kenny Nestor.

Both played for Clarecastle (John Joe played in the 1978 Senior Final against Newmarket-on-Fergus) and the Casey and Nestor families are steeped in the club’s history so we offer our sincere sympathies to their families at this difficult time.

Reposing at Kennedy’s Funeral Home, Ennis this evening (Monday, November 27th) from 5.30-7pm followed by private cremation.

No flowers please, donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre.

Kenny Nestor

Reposing in SS Peter & Paul's Church Clarecastle tomorrow evening (Tuesday, November 28th) from 5-7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am with burial after in Clarehill Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Clarecastle Day Care Centre.
